Best of the Crest Award
Best of the Crest is an awards ceremony held annually to recognize Cedar Crest College student leaders. These students excel out of the classroom through leadership opportunities, clubs, and organizations. The Lutz Center for Community Service awards the U.S. President's Volunteer Service Award to students who have completed 100 hours of service or more in the past year. The 2016-17 award winners are Alyssa Bartelt (105 hrs), Leslie Cano (123 hrs), Selena Contreras (100 hrs), Haley Krueger (101 hrs), Michelle Reyes-Vasquez (160 hrs), and Ashley Schoenenberger (125 hrs).

Kutztown University has conferred degrees on more than 1,200 students during the winter and spring semesters. Kutztown University announces degree conferment twice a year, once in the winter and once in the summer. Commencement exercises are held in May and December; however, students finish their requirements for graduation throughout the entire year. The cumulative grade point average necessary for honor distinction is: with honor (cum laude) 3.40; with high honor (magna cum laude) 3.60 and with highest honor (summa cum laude) 3.80. Lebanon Valley College celebrated its 148th Commencement on Saturday, May 13 with nearly 500 students receiving their degrees in Louis A. Sorrentino Gymnasium. The 385 graduating seniors were joined by 38 doctor of physical therapy candidates, and 57 master's degree candidates.
